    Small Animal

    From routine wellness exams to orthopedic procedures, we offer a broad spectrum of care for our furry friends.

    Services include, but are not limited to:

    • Wellness exams and vaccinations

    • Preventative medicine

    • Dental services

    • Routine/elective surgeries as well as emergency based surgeries - we are equipped to provide a spectrum of soft tissue surgeries as well as a handful of orthopedic procedures

    • Full in-house laboratory for bloodwork, urinalysis, and fecal evaluations

    • Ultrasound and radiology capabilities

    • After hours, emergency care and hospitalization

  • Large Animal & Small Ruminant

    We have both state-of-the-art haul in facilities as well as multiple fully equipped farm trucks and a portable hydraulic chute to meet all your livestock needs.

    Services include, but are not limited to:

    • Preventative medicine, vaccinations, herd health services, etc.

    • Nutrition consulting

    • Obstetrics

    • Breeding soundness exams (bull semen evaluation as well as heifer fertility evaluation)

    • Artificial Insemination

    • Ultrasound/sonogram services

    • Neonatal resuscitation and support

    • Lameness exams, hoof trims, etc.

    • Veterinary Feed Directives (VFD)

    • After hours, emergency care and hospitalization

  • Equine

    Our new facility has a dedicated space to take care of our largest pets.

    Service include but are not limited to:

    • Routine exams, vaccinations, and deworming

    • Dental services

    • Wound care

    • Lameness exams

    • Radiology

    • Reproductive services such as mare breeding soundness exams/stage of cycle, ultrasound, mare artificial insemination and embryo transfer

    • After hours, emergency care and hospitalization

  • Exotics and Pocket Pets

    Whether it flies, crawls, slithers, or hops our dedicated team is willing to take care of any ailment. Our vets are happy to assist you with any issue your exotic pet may present with.

    Services include:

    Beak trims, wellness exams, bloodwork, radiology, nail/claw trims

  • Grooming

    We are lucky have 2 wonderful groomers at Clay Veterinary Clinic. They are both very good and highly qualified. **For safety of our staff and other pets, proof of up-to-date vaccinations is required for services, or they will be performed at drop off on the day of the grooming.**

  • Boarding

    Going on vacation? We offer day or extended stay boarding for dogs in our new boarding facility. We offer large suites for big or multiple dog families. Our kennel manager does a wonderful job making sure each pet’s stay is great with outside and play time. We offer separate boarding for cats too! **Proof of up-to-date vaccinations is required, or they will be performed at drop-off.**

    Vaccines required for dogs:

    • Rabies

    • DAPPV

    • Bordetella

    Vaccines required for cats:

    • Rabies

    • FVRCP

    Must be current on flea and tick prevention

    All outdoor cats or cats that go outside will be required to have a current feline leukemia vaccine.

    Don’t forget to bring your pet’s medications or special food. We feed Hill’s SD sensitive skin and stomach or Hill’s I/D food.
